Terms of Service

1. What Zwil Is

Zwil ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered career twin platform that lets professionals build an AI representation of themselves ("twin") that recruiters and clients can interact with. Access is provided via zwil.app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter contracts. By signing up you confirm this. We may terminate accounts that violate this.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Keep your credentials secure. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
• One account per person. Multiple accounts may be merged or suspended.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Your Content

You own all content you upload — resumes, photos, audio recordings, written answers, and profile text. By uploading it you grant Zwil a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and display it solely to provide the service to you.

You must not upload content that:

• Is false, misleading, or fraudulent
• Misrepresents your qualifications, experience, or identity
• Violates any third party's intellectual property rights
• Is defamatory, harassing, or illegal
• Contains malware or malicious code

We do not use your content to train general AI models. Your data is used only to power your own AI twin.

5. AI Twin — Consent & Control

You consent to your own twin.

An AI twin can only be created by you, for yourself, using your own account. You cannot create a twin representing another person. By building a twin you explicitly consent to Zwil generating AI responses on your behalf based on the content you provide.

You remain in control.

• You may update, correct, or delete your twin and all associated content at any time from your dashboard.
• You may take your twin offline (unpublish) at any time — it will immediately stop responding to visitors.
• Pinned answers you provide take precedence — your twin is instructed to prioritize them.
• Deleting your account permanently removes your twin and all content within 30 days.

AI responses are approximate.

Your twin's responses are AI-generated from the content you provide. They may not perfectly represent your exact views or phrasing. Zwil is not liable for inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing your twin's responses and correcting them via pinned answers.

6. Voice Clone — Explicit Consent

The voice clone feature (available on Pro plans) synthesises speech in your voice using an audio recording you provide.

• By submitting a voice recording you explicitly consent to Zwil processing that audio to create a voice model via our provider (ElevenLabs).
• Your voice model is stored privately and used only to generate responses from your own twin.
• You may delete your voice clone at any time from Settings. Deletion removes the model from both Zwil and ElevenLabs within 30 days.
• You must be the person speaking in the recording. Submitting another person's voice without their consent is a violation of these terms and may be illegal.

7. AI Transparency — Recruiter & Visitor Obligations

All AI twin interactions on Zwil are labelled as AI. Visitors chatting with a twin are shown clear disclosures that they are communicating with an AI, not directly with the person.

As a recruiter or visitor using Zwil you agree that:

• You will not represent AI twin responses as direct human statements without disclosure.
• You will not use conversation logs to make employment decisions without human review.
• You will treat AI twin outputs as preliminary information, not a substitute for direct human interaction.
• You will not attempt to extract, scrape, or republish twin conversation data without consent.

8. Acceptable Use

You may not use Zwil to:

• Create a twin impersonating another real person without their explicit written consent
• Fabricate credentials, qualifications, or work history in your twin
• Use a twin to deceive recruiters about your identity or capabilities
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or extract data from the platform
• Interfere with or disrupt our infrastructure
• Circumvent any access controls or security measures
• Clone another person's voice without their consent

Violations may result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, referral to relevant authorities.

9. Payments & Subscriptions

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. All payments are in USD. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods except where required by law.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may terminate your account for violations of these terms. Upon termination your twin will be immediately taken offline and your content deleted within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it.

11. Limitation of Liability

Zwil is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. AI twin responses are generated automatically and may be inaccurate — we are not liable for decisions made based on twin outputs. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are material we will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
